Jay and the girls were at a rock concert on Halloween, so it was just Hope and I at home handing out candy. Last year, I was so impressed with her. She was still new to us, so I wasn’t sure what to expect. She didn’t bark or growl or try and bolt off. She was friendly with everyone, and she seemed to love all of the trick-or-treaters.
This year, I think she was more comfortable, because she kept taking off and following the trick-or-treaters down the driveway and I kept having to chase after her. Eventually, I got wise and put her leash on, but once again, she was so friendly and everyone complimented me on how sweet she is and what a pretty girl she is. Once I put the leash on, things went a little better. I no longer had to run down the driveway and chase after her. She just wanted to participate in the party going on in the street!
Here’s a photo of her sitting on the rug waiting for more visitors. I’m pretty sure that Halloween is her favorite day of the year.
Hope is a Bronco’s fan just like her mama.
