Rachael Ray Spoon & Ladle Set
Back in the day, my roommate and I watched Rachael Ray’s 30 Minute Meals on the Food Network every time it aired. Rachael was so down-to-earth and different than the other on-air chefs. She made delicious food look easy to make and accessible to “normal folks” (i.e. non chefs.) She carried way too much in one trip, threw her scraps into a garbage bowl and had about 100 variations of burgers. I learned a lot watching her on TV and went on to purchase several of her cookbooks.
Something I found out after trying many of Rachael’s recipes is that there is no way I could make any of them in 30 minutes. Perhaps the magic of video editing made it possible for her to complete her recipes in that amount of time. Rachael’s 30 minute meals took Shannon between :45-1:00. Still, the recipes were tasty and I feel like I grew a lot in the kitchen from watching Rachael Ray.
Although I think that many of the cooking tools on the market created by celebrity chefs are overpriced, some are worth the money. Products designed by the Pioneer Woman can be found throughout my kitchen. Ree’s line is very affordable and is an excellent value. Rachael Ray’s line is at a higher price point, but I have purchased a few of her products. Zulily frequently has deals on Rachael’s line and I purchased a set of pots and pans and her Spoon and Ladle Set.

Rachael Ray’s spoon and ladle set is extremely well made. They rest easily on the side of a pan without getting hot. They are quite heavy, but are dishwasher safe and are extremely functional. No need to worry about scratching your nonstick cookware because they are constructed of silicone.
As soon as this set arrived they quickly became some of my favorite tools to use in the kitchen. If you’ve been eyeing them and unsure if they are worth the money, I highly endorse them. Fortunately, I got mine at a discount, but I’d happily pay full price now that I’ve used them for a while.
