This week our girl turned five. She’s been a part of our family for three and a half years now and not a day goes by that we are not thankful we became her furever family. She is incredibly sweet and she makes us laugh all the time.
Every year for her birthday, I pick up a special treat from the local dog bakery and they give us a free hat and she gets a new toy. Since her birthday is on October 30, she typically gets a Halloween-themed treat, but I don’t think she minds. This year she got a yummy cupcake and as soon as I walked in the door, she started sniffing the bag. Whatever they put in that cupcake, she was enjoying the scent!
She waited patiently with her ridiculous hat on while we sang for her so that she could enjoy her cupcake. Isn’t she the cutest?
