Today is the official 3 month anniversary of the first post on KetchumKitchen.com. I’m very proud of how much content I’ve been able to put up, considering I work full time and work on this blog tirelessly in the evenings and on weekends. It’s truly a joy, and I wish I had more time to spend on it. I have so much that I want to do and look forward to making this blog what I have envisioned from the outset.
To celebrate, I’m hosting a give away of one of my favorite kitchen tools. We received a Black and Decker electric griddle as a wedding gift back in December of 2005. This model isn’t identical, but it’s very similar and ours has held up great.
I don’t use the griddle a lot, because if I’m just making one or two eggs or a couple of pieces of bacon or one grilled cheese sandwich, it’s not worth the hassle of taking it out of the back of the lower cabinet where it’s stored, but if I’m making a larger quantity, or making pancakes or French toast, it’s a must!
The nonstick surface is perfect for making the perfect flapjack and I like that you can control the temperature and it’s super easy to clean. It has a nice, big surface area so you can make a lot of food at once and I have found that the heat distribution is perfectly even.
Some facts about this griddle:
- Cast Iron
- Imported
- Product note: the logo design of this item may vary depending on when the product was manufactured
- 8 Servings; large non-stick cooking surface
- Nonstick cooking surface, Drip tray for easy clean up
- Easy temperature control
- Dishwasher safe
